We are very happy to announce that our Danish colleague, Simon Gillet, received a special award for the outstanding work he did for Gallup this year, handling many special challenges and delivering great results.
Norstat Denmark is in charge of the fieldwork for the Gallup World Poll in four countries: Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. The poll includes two waves of 1000 CATI interviews which are approximately 25 minutes long. For this, Simon Gillet had the support of his colleagues, Sammy Elgazoun, also from Denmark, and Henrik Kronberg from our office in Linköping, Sweden.
Norstat Denmark has been running this report for Gallup with full responsibility since three years now and have before been involved in it as a partner for the last eight years.
For the last three years in a row, Norstat was also given the Best Partnership Award by Gallup for their outstanding performance and high-quality data delivery.
‘‘It is always really nice to work with clients who have a rigorous approach to quality in data collection, which speak the same language and really challenge us to keep improving our results through our close partnership.” says Simon Gillet happily, after receiving the special award directly from John Clifton, Gallup’s Global Managing Partner in Washington D.C.
We believe this is a nice example where the Norstat spirit of building strong personal relationships comes to life in our everyday work. We have spent a lot of time and effort working with Gallup on several projects, e.g. acting as a consultant for questions of methodology and project set-up or working on possible future scenarios of fieldwork and data collection. Most of this would have happened, even if it was not tied to a certain project or profit, just because we have built up that personal relationship with a deep mutual understanding for each other.
